SAMMY BUSBY'S 615

Sammy Busby, guitarist for L.A.-based Dixie's Deceivers, is a repeat Studio California enthusiast. This formerly-Mapleglo 610 was brought to us in order to have a third pickup fitted, and the finish changed to a Tan Amberglo, similar to John Lennon's Rickenbacker 325 as it exists today. Gold pick guards were fabricated and painted, and a two-pot harness was made up. 1950s-style chromed die cast knobs were fitted. An Accent vibrato finished it off.
