RHETT LAWRENCE'S 4003/75th
This was a limited edition Rickenbacker 75th Anniversary, Dark Cherry Metallic bass, that was re-conceived by Studio California as a sort of ultimate studio recording bass, for record producer Rhett Lawrence (Mariah Carey, Kelly Clarkson, Black-Eyed Peas, and dozens more top artists). It features a stock Rickenbacker Horseshoe pickup in the bridge pickup, along with a Yamaha Double Rail Humbucking pickup at the neck. Both Graph Tech Acoustic-Sonic Piezo system and Graph Tech Ghost Hexpander MIDI systems are incorporated into the bass, with switches and pots to control any combination of systems on-the-fly.
