"ISLE OF CAPRI" 1960 CAPRI RE-IMAGINING
This restoration was begun with the intention of doing a deluxe early Capri in a non-traditional color. An "Aquaglo" scheme was decided upon, with non-standard "checkerboard" material used on the body purfling and the headstock binding. The paint color is pale Aqua in the center of the burst, fading into a darker aqua/blue with pearl added. New gold pick guards, Rogan "oven" knobs, non-standard full-width crushed mother-of-pearl fret markers, and an Accent vibrato complete the visual.
