This solution to this problem from Studio California allows a heavier, more adjustable Schaller hardtail bridge to be fitted to a Rickenbacker 620 or 660. String changes are now easy and fast, and spacing can be micro-adjusted. Sustain is quite noticeably improved. A win-win for the 620 or 660 6-string player.
