MADELEINE STRINGS 700S/6 SHASTA JUMBO 6-STRING

One of our Australian repeat clients had us built a Rickenbacker 700S/12 Shasta Jumbo 12-string acoustic a few years back, and decided to order a 6-string model to accompany it. By that time, however, the Rickenbacker ordering window had closed. He decided that, since the guitars were identical except for the brand, he would be just as pleased to have a Madeleine 700S/6. 

We built the instrument to his specifications, with a custom-mixed "Caramel Burst" finish on the top, and Shaded Indian Rosewood back and sides. Note the subtle 4-color Madeleine nameplate. An LR Baggs "Anthem" pickup system is fitted, and Maddy's photo is inside, on the serial number label.
