GRETSCH CUSTOM "DE VILLE" DUO-JET HOLLOW BODY

CADILLAC IVORY AND DEEP GREEN FINISH

This Gretsch was custom-fabricated for a client and friend in Australia, and features the most "Deluxe" of Gretsch electronics and hardware, fitted to a hollowed-out and bound body that was originally a Pro Jet. The paint finish is Gretsch Cadillac Cream Yellow and Cadillac Green "Metallic-Chrome", from the early 1950s. This is a very lightweight guitar compared to the original, and the TV Jones custom-wound pickups and hollow body join to give this instrument a very "juicy" sound that only Gretsch hollow-bodies possess.

Note the custom-laser-engraved "de Ville" pick guard, “Aitch” truss rod cover, and genuine crocodile skin armrest.
