SPECIAL BLUE BOY ROSE-MORRIS MODEL 1998

This was originally a "Rose-Morris" reissue with a very bad Fireglo paint finish, which simply begged for a new identity. A favorite Rickenbacker color, "Blue Boy", which was never used on these models, was chosen for this project. The guards and nameplate were redone, with white/blue pearl applied to the second (back) surface of the new clear acrylic pieces, after the edges were radiused and polished. A specially-formulated medium cool gray lettering was used on both the nameplate lettering and the edge of the "F" hole. You can see the subtle results in the detail photos.
