AQUAGLO 4001 RESTORATION AND REFINISH

This project displays an intriguing "take" on the possibility of combining colors in both complementary and contrasting modes. The interplay between the reddish-brown of the Bubinga fretboard with its poured-pearl resin fret markers and the cool color palette on display on the body, neck, and headstock, shows that thinking "out of the box" can lead to some rewarding results. The black pick guard and binding crispen up the edges and bring a somber note to the view of the front of the bass, and the chrome and white fretboard binding add a touch of sparkle. The burst, with its Pale Aquamarine center fading into a deeper Navy Blue at the very edge, provides a central element for the other details to play on.
