PREMIUM MAPLEGLO 700 COMSTOCK RICKENBACKER ACOUSTIC GUITAR

WITH TORTOISE AND WHITE CELLULOID BINDING

The details have it, in this deceptively-simple-appearing 700C 6-string Jumbo. It draws the eye in from a distance--an elegant and subtle lightly amber maple tone suffuses the entire instrument. As you move in closer, you notice the "checkerboard" purfling and--surprise--binding in celluloid tortoise shell instead of the usual white celluloid. Move around to inspect the beautifully-flamed AAAAA maple sides, and you'll see the thin white paint stripe that separated the tortoise shell binding from the wood of the side. Myriad other details surface to delight the viewer's eyes: the trademark gold "Teardrop" pick guard, the contrast of ivory bridge pins and saddle with the Ebony bridge, the tortoise-shell binding on the headstock, Gold-plated Schaller tuners, crushed mother-of-pearl fret markers, hand-striped "flash" at the bottom, and the unique Gold and platinum Rickenbacker headstock nameplate.

The sound of this guitar is a feast for the ears. See our "Acoustic Sound Samples" page to hear another 700C in two brief recordings.
