1959 "F" BODY IN AUTUMNGLO WITH HORSESHOE PICKUP

A 1960 360 Capri "F" Body undergoes a re-birth, with the only original parts being the neck, fretboard, and body side "hoop". The front of the body had been badly-hacked to replace the original toaster pickups with Gibson humbuckers, and the back of the guitar was cracked and repaired with epoxy resin and Bondo.

You can see in the "before" photos some of the work that Studio California performed to rebuild the body. This includes the stout rebracing that the body "hoop" received in order to locate and secure the vintage "horseshoe" pickup, along with new neck pocket bracing and dual cross braces. "Checkerboard" purfling was added and the neck bound in "checkerboard" as well.

The finish is Vintage Autumnglo, with slightly-ambered binding.
